몸체 전체에 유리홍으로 문양이 그려진 옥호춘병이다. 복부에는 세한삼우도(歲寒三友圖)가 그려져 있다. '세한삼우'란 '추운 겨울의 세 벗'이라는 뜻으로, 소나무, 대나무, 매화나무를 가리킨다. 이 나무들은 혹독한 겨울과 폭설 속에서도 꽃을 피우며, 어려움 속에서도 꺾이지 않는 정신력과 인내를 상징한다. 중국 원나라 시기에는 몽골족에 의해 나라를 잃은 한족 문인들이 이 문양을 지조와 저항의 상징으로 삼아 다양한 예술 작품에 담아냈다. 목 상단에는 기사회생을 상징하는 파초잎(芭蕉葉)이, 목 하단과 몸체 저부에는 변형된 연판문이 장식되어 있다.

 玉壶春瓶通体以釉里红绘制图案。 腹部饰岁寒三友图。 “岁寒三友”意指“寒冬时节的三位挚友”，即松竹梅。这些植物即便在寒冬大雪中依然坚强生长，代表在困境中坚守节操与毅力的精神。在中国元代，许多失去国家的汉族文人将“岁寒三友”融入各种艺术创作中，作为高尚人格的象征。 瓶上颈部绘象征起死回生的蕉叶纹，颈下与近足处饰变形莲瓣纹。 

The body of this Yuhuchunping vase is adorned with intricate patterns painted in copper-red glaze. The central section features the Three Friends of Winter motif (歲寒三友圖). The Three Friends of Winter translates to ""three companions of the harsh winter,"" referring to the pine tree, bamboo, and plum tree. These trees flourish even in the harshest winters and under heavy snowfall, symbolizing resilience, perseverance, and strength in adversity. During the Yuan Dynasty, Han Chinese scholars, who had lost their nation to Mongol rule, embraced this motif as a representation of integrity and resistance, incorporating it into various art forms. The upper neck is adorned with plantain leaves (芭蕉葉), symbolizing revival, while the lower neck and base feature stylized lotus petal designs.
