내면에는 투채로 초충도(草蟲圖)를 외부 표면에는 청화로 장수를 의미하는 천도 복숭아와 두마리 용을 그린 완입니다. 큼직한 배추와 잘 익은 벼를 중심으로 가지와 수박, 버섯과 고추 등이 풍성하게 그려졌고 다산(多産)을 의미하는 여치가 생동감있게 채소 위로 다니고 있습니다. 풍작을 뜻하는 초충도와 함께 장수를 상징하는 천도복숭아와 위엄을 뜻하는 용이 함께 등장하는 황실 유물로 추정됩니다. 굽 바닥에는 청나라 건륭 시기의 것임을 알려주는 '대청건륭년제(大清乾隆年製)' 관지가 쓰여 있습니다.

The interior features a grass and insects motif painted in famille rose, while the exterior depicts heavenly peaches symbolizing longevity and two dragons in underglaze blue. At the center are large cabbages and ripe rice, surrounded by eggplants, watermelons, mushrooms, chili peppers, and more, vividly illustrated in abundance. A katydid, symbolizing fertility, is depicted with lively motion as it moves across the vegetables. This rare design combines the grass and insects motif, symbolizing a bountiful harvest, with heavenly peaches for longevity and dragons for authority, suggesting it was likely made for imperial use. The base bears the mark "Made in the Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period" indicating its origin from the Qianlong era of the Qing dynasty.
