연꽃과 연잎이 풍성하게 피어난 연못 속에서 헤엄치는 잉어들이 그려진 청나라 발(鉢)입니다.

흰색 유약이 시유된 외면과 내면 가득히 붉은색과 초록색, 자주색, 보라색 등 다양한 색으로 연꽃과 연잎, 그 사이를 헤엄치는 다양한 모습의 잉어들이 묘사되어 있습니다.

구연부에는 금이 둘러져 있고 잉어의 비늘과 연잎의 맥, 연꽃의 잎 등 문양의 윤곽선이 금으로 섬세하게 그려져 작품의 화려함이 더욱 극대화되었습니다.

잉어가 연꽃과 연잎 사이를 헤엄치는 모습은 중국 전통에서 상서로움을 의미하는 도안 중 하나입니다. 연꽃의 연밥에는 씨앗이 많아서 많은 복과 자녀를 의미하고 잉어는 거센 황하를 거슬러 올라가 용문을 뛰어넘어 용이 되었다는 전설이 있어 관직을 의미합니다. 또한 연꽃 연(蓮)은 연이을 연(連)과 발음이 같고, 물고기 어(魚)는 남을 여(餘)와 발음이 같아 연꽃과 물고기가 함께하는 도안은 끊임없는 여유와 풍요, 해가 거듭될수록 늘어나는 재물을 의미합니다.

굽 바닥에는 이 작품이 청나라 옹정 시기에 제작되었음을 나타내는 '大清雍正年製(대청옹정년제)'가 쓰여 있으며 황제나 귀족이 사용했던 것으로 사료됩니다.
 

这是一件清朝雍正年间制作的钵器，描绘了锦鲤在盛开的荷花与荷叶间游动的图案。

器身内外施白釉，以红、绿、紫等多彩颜料绘莲花、莲叶以及在其间游动的各种姿态的锦鲤。

口沿描金一圈，锦鲤的鱼鳞、荷叶的叶脉、荷花的花瓣等图案的轮廓也以金色精致勾勒，更显华丽。

锦鲤在荷花与荷叶之间游动的图案，是中国传统中象征祥瑞的图样之一。莲蓬中含有大量种子，象征多福多子。而锦鲤则因传说中逆流而上跃过龙门变为龙，象征着仕途飞升、升官之意。“莲”与“连”的发音相同，“鱼”与“余”的发音相同，象征“连年有余”，富足丰饶。

底足署“大清雍正年制”款识，推测为皇室或贵族使用的器物。

This bowl from the Qing Dynasty features a vivid depiction of carp swimming in a lotus pond where lotus flowers and leaves bloom abundantly.

Both the exterior and interior surfaces, coated with a white glaze, are adorned with lotus flowers and leaves in red, green, magenta, purple, and other vibrant colors. Carp are illustrated swimming among the foliage in various poses.

The rim is gilded, and delicate gold outlines highlight the scales of the carp, the veins of the lotus leaves, and the petals of the flowers, further enhancing the opulence of the piece.

The image of carp swimming among lotus flowers and leaves is considered an auspicious motif in traditional Chinese culture. The lotus seed pods contain many seeds, signifying fertility and numerous descendants. The carp is also associated with the legend of leaping over the Dragon Gate on the Yellow River to become a dragon, symbolizing success in officialdom. Additionally, the word for lotus (蓮, lián) is a homophone for “continuity” (連, lián), and the word for carp (鲤, lǐ) sounds like “abundance” or “surplus” (餘, yú). Thus, a design combining lotus and carp symbolizes continuous abundance and increasing wealth year after year.  

The base of the bowl is inscribed with “大清雍正年製” (Made in the Yongzheng reign of the Great Qing), indicating it was made during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty. It is believed to have been used by the emperor or members of the nobility.
