먼 산과 산기슭에 나무들, 구름과 안개가 낀 풍경에 인물이 그려진 청화백자 산수 인물문 접시이다. 조선 전기 청화백자의 주 문양은 회화적인 성격을 띤 산수인물문 등으로 나타났는데, 이 접시에서는 원경과 근경이 잘 드러난 산수인물문이 잘 묘사되어 있으며 풍경의 전체적 구도도 안정적이다. 하얀 바탕에 청화 안료를 사용하여 접시 상단에는 산과 폭포, 구름의 모습이 묘사되어 있고 하단 중앙에 나귀를 탄 인물과 걷고 있는 인물들의 모습이 생생하게 그려져 있다.

This is a blue and white dish with figures in the clouded mountains. Most of the blue and white porcelains of the early Joseon Dynasty had this kind of scenery pattern with figures like a painting. This work especially shows a scene with a stable perspective and structure. The white surface is lively painted in a blue glaze with mountains, waterfalls, clouds, and some figures on a horse or walking by themselves.
