청동으로 만든 오리 모양의 준(尊)이다. 일반적인 청동기에서 볼 수 있는 녹색의 표면에 붉게 녹슨 흔적이 군데군데 나 있다. 부리는 뾰족하고 날개는 C자 모양으로 약간 돌출되어 있으며, 다리 뒤쪽에는 원통형의 받침대가 붙어 있다.
등 위에는 동그란 구연부가 있으며, 꼬리 쪽에 음각으로 '공으로써 조정을 억누르다' 라는 뜻의 '승이조공(勝以朝公)' 네 글자가 새겨져 있는데, 이는 사사로운 일이나 이익보다 공익을 앞세운다는 뜻의 '선공후사(先公後私)'와 같은 의미이다.
이 서주압형준(西周鴨形尊)은 중국 국립박물관에 소장되어 있는 청동압형준과 유사하다. 대체로 청동압형준은 오리 모양으로 주조하고, 오리발을 정교하게 묘사한 특징이 있다. 날개는 부조법으로 주조했고, 깃털은 빗살무늬로 표현했다. 표현수법은 원조·부조·선각을 하나로 결합하였다. 오리의 풍만한 체형, 사실적인 형상과 생동감, 소박한 조형미를 보여준다. 특히 조각과 실용을 일체화하여 서주 초기 청동 예술 장식의 중요한 특징이 잘 나타나 있다. 준(尊)은 술병의 모습을 본뜬 우두머리를 뜻한 추(酋)와 마디를 뜻하는 촌(寸)이 합쳐진 회의자로서 황실 제사 때 술을 담는 그릇으로 사용되었다.
这是用青铜制作的鸭形尊。青铜器上可以看到绿色表面上到处都有红锈的痕迹。鸭喙尖，翅膀呈C字形凸起，腿后侧附有圆筒形支架。
背部上方的口沿部呈圆形，尾部阴刻“勝以朝公”铭文，即"先公后私”，公事优先于私事或利益的意思。
该西周鸭形尊与中国国立博物馆收藏的青铜鸭形尊相似。青铜鸭形尊大体铸造成鸭子形状，精巧地描绘鸭子的脚，翅膀用浮雕法铸造，羽毛用梳齿纹表现。把圆雕、浮雕、线刻等表现手法结合在一起，展现了鸭子丰满的体型、逼真的形象、具有生动感而朴素的造型美。尤其是雕塑和实用一体化，充分体现了西周初期青铜艺术装饰的重要特征。尊是模仿酒瓶模样意为首领的"酋"和意为节的"寸"合二为一的会意字，在皇室祭祀时用作盛酒的器皿。

A round-neck opening rises from the back, and the tail is engraved with a four-character inscription reading sheng yi chao gong, meaning the public interest comes before the private interest.
This duck-shaped zun vessel of the Western Zhou resembles the bronze duck-shaped zun vessel in the National Museum of China. Bronze duck zun vessels are usually molded in the shape of a duck and the feet are exquisitely depicted. Wings are engraved or embossed, and a comb pattern composes feathers. The glamorous and lively form of the duck has the plain beauty of art. The vessel shows the representative characteristic of Western Zhou bronze ware art by combining integrating practicality and sculpture. Zun (尊) is a compound ideograph consisting of qiu (酋), meaning the boss, and cun (寸), meaning a joint, and was used as a liquor vessel in imperial rituals.
