하남성 우현(禹縣)에 위치한 황실 전용 도요지인 균요(均窯)에서 제작된 것으로 해당화의 자주색 유약으로 만든 매괴자유 화분이다.
매괴(玫瑰)는 구슬 모양의 열매를 맺는 나무로서 해당화 나무로도 불리며, 자유는 자주색 유약을 말한다.
이 화분의 바깥 면은 다른 균요 자기에서 보기 힘든 독특하고 오묘한 톤의 붉은빛을 띠며 안쪽 면은 은은한 바다색의 푸른빛 유약으로 채색되어 있고, 굽 바닥과 구연부 끝 부분은 황녹색을 띠고 있어 색채의 대비가 신비롭고 아름답다. 이와 같이 여러 색채 변화를 보이는 기법은 균요(均窯)의 특징이다. 굽 바닥과 기면 곳곳에는 출토 흔적이 남아있다. 이 균요 매괴자유 화분은 중국 고궁박물원에서 소장하고 있는 매괴자유 화분보다 더 은은하고 독특한 색의 조화를 자랑하는 작품으로, 일반적인 균요자기에서는 쉽게 볼 수 없는 톤의 붉은 색상이 특히 아름다워 가치가 높다.
这是于中国宋代的五大名窑中，位于河南省禹县的皇室专用陶窑-钧窑制造的，用海棠的紫色釉料制作的玫瑰紫釉花盆。
玫瑰是结成圆珠形式的果实，也被称为“海棠树”，紫釉是紫色釉料。
该花盆的外壁呈现出其他均窑瓷器中难得一见的独特而微妙的红色，内壁彩绘淡海蓝色釉，底足和口沿部饰黄绿色，这样色彩的对比神秘而美丽。像这样，在单一陶器中呈现神秘色彩变化的技术是钧窑的特色。底足和外壁到处有出土的痕迹，该钧窑玫瑰紫釉花盆与中国故宫博物馆收藏的玫瑰紫釉花盆相比更加淡雅独特，色彩协调，是在一般钧窑瓷器中很难见到的红色色调，作为一件值得炫耀的作品，甚是美丽，价值很高。
The flower pot was made with the purple glaze of crabapple in the Jun Kiln, the imperial kiln located in Yu County, Henan Province.
The Beach rose is a tree with bead-shaped fruit, also known as a begonia tree.
The exterior surface presents a unique and subtle red color rarely seen in other Jun wares, and the inner surface is painted in light sea-blue glaze. The color contrast with the yellowish-green base and rim adds to its mystique and beauty. Such mysterious color variation in a single ceramic is the specialty of Jun ware. There are traces of excavation remaining in places on the base and the exterior surface. The present work arouses a more elegant and unique atmosphere compared to the one collected by the Palace Museum of China. It is highly valued for its beauty, especially the red tone that is difficult to be seen in general Jun ware.
