북송 때 중국의 6대 관요 중 하나인 여요(汝窯)에서 만든 원형의 그릇과 뚜껑으로 이루어진 합이다.
곧은 입술을 덮는 덮개 윗면이 솟아 있으며 바닥에는 원형의 굽이 달려있다. 안쪽과 바깥쪽에 전체적으로 은은한 청색 유약을 입혀 빛깔이 산뜻하고 부드러우며, 표면에는 미세한 빙렬이 확인되고 윤택감이 있다. 일반적으로 중국의 자기 가운데 송대의 자기를 최고로 치는데, 그 중에서도 여요 자기가 으뜸이다. 이와 같은 북송 말기에 설치된 여요의 자기에는 푸른 압단청(鸭蛋靑)의 유약이 발라져 있는데, 구울 때 유약의 수축률 차이로 인해 거미줄처럼 갈라진 빙렬이 나타난다. 뚜껑에는 양각과 음각으로 다섯 개의 발가락을 지닌 용이 새겨져 있으며, 바닥에는 송대 여요자기의 특징인 지정지마흔(支钉芝麻痕)이라 불리는 5개의 깨알 같은 규석이 붙어 있다.

该盒呈圆形，上下子母口扣合，直壁，盖顶隆起，腹下内收，圈足，里外施青釉，釉色清爽柔和。壁面有细微冰裂和光泽感。一般把宋代的瓷器视为中国瓷器中的最高品位，其中汝窑首屈一指。北宋末期的汝窑瓷器上涂有鸭蛋青的釉料，烤瓷时，因其收缩率差异，出现像蜘蛛网一样分叉的冰裂。该盒的盖子阴阳刻有五趾龙，底部有被称为汝窑瓷器特征的芝麻钉的五颗芝麻般的硅石。

The domed lid covers the upright mouth, and the base is supported by a round foot. The interior and the exterior surface are covered overall in lustrous and refreshing pale blue glaze with fine crackles. Porcelain from the Song Dynasty is generally regarded as the highest grade of Chinese porcelain, among which Ru kiln is second to none. Ru ware in the late Northern Song Dynasty was coated with duck-egg green glaze. When the porcelain is fired, the network of crackles appears due to the difference in shrinkage rate. The lid is engraved and embossed with a five-clawed dragon, and the base is applied with five elliptical spur marks called "sesame marks," which is one of the characteristics of Jun ware.
